We Need An Alternative

Can there be any doubt that there is a crying need for another political party? Just look at the sorry performance of our elected "representatives" of the Democrat and Republican persuasion.

There is no need to go into great detail. Generally speaking under the leadership of these two decadent parties we find ourselves trillions of dollars in debt. Our foreign trade balance of payments is nearing a trillion dollars per year. The president refuses to enforce immigration laws. Certain communities declare themselves "Sanctuary Cities" in defiance of federal laws. An invasion by alien migrants is allowed to proceed almost unimpeded.

The list of abuses of the average American by our government could go on ad nauseam.

The greatest argument against another party can only be put forward by those in power in the two major parties. To that end the powers that be have made it almost impossible for a new or "minor" party to get a place on the ballot.

The only chance for the minor parties to have an effect on any election is to unite and use their collective membership to get on the ballot and give voters an alternative to the two major parties which are rotting from within.

Unfortunately for America the Constitution Party is refusing to consider uniting with the Libertarian Party. These are the two largest of the minor parties and although they have ideological differences they might have an effect even if they united only on a temporary basis. Their partnership would probably cause many of the other small parties to join in a coalition which would shake the major parties to their very foundations.

Some representatives of, let's call it the American Party, sitting in Congress would serve notice that the natives are restless. That unless those in power become more responsive to the wishes of the majority of Americans their days in power are numbered.

It's too bad that the Constitution Party is refusing to consider partnering with the Libertarians. This is a disservice to the American people and unpatriotic as well.

And this makes me FURIOUS!!
